Returns

Returns for Exchange or Credit:

You may return any unused, undamaged, and resalable part in its original packaging for exchange, credit or refund up to 30 days after purchase. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt. All order cancellations and returns may be subject to a 20% return fee to cover any associated cost. All returns must have a return authorization # before returning them to us. You will have 10 days from the issue date of the RA# to return the parts to us. Shipping fees that are incurred from returning any part to us is the responsibility of the customer. Please do not return merchandise to us C.O.D. or postage due, as it will be refused. Finally, if the return shipment is damaged in transit, you are responsible for filing the claim with the carrier.

If you need to exchange an item because we shipped something in error, then Classic Auto Restoration Parts will be responsible for the return shipping of the wrong part.

Important: Stencil kits, stripe kits, electrical parts, gauges, wiring harnesses, switches, parts not in the original packaging, parts in the original packaging that has been soiled, torn, or destroyed, and incomplete sets are non-returnable. All special order products must be pre-paid in full and are non-returnable. There is no guarantee on moving parts such as engines, transmissions, rear ends, steering gears, water pumps, distributors, wiper motors, etc. If any product is modified, altered, painted, installed or disassembled in any way, the item is non-returnable. Any item which has been altered, painted, installed or deemed non-resalable will not be refunded. Classic Auto Restoration Parts is not responsible or liable for labor fees associated with the installation, removal, modification, painting, or repair of any product purchased regardless of the circumstances. We are not responsible for any damage or discoloration incurred in relation to chemical products being used including lubricants, cleaners, waxes, polishes, paints, etc.
